Barry Jenkins in Talks to Direct Glen Powell in Sci-Fi Thriller ‘The Natural Order'

Academy Award-winning director Barry Jenkins appears to have selected his next project: a new science fiction thriller featuring actor Glen Powell.

Titled "The Natural Order," the project centers on the quest for everlasting life and originates from an initial concept by Matthew Aldrich.

Universal acquired the rights to the project, and Jenkins is negotiating to helm the film. Jenkins and Aldrich will collaborate on adapting the screenplay from an unpublished manuscript penned by Aldrich.

The deadline was the first to report on the project.
